Engineered for recovery
01

Graduated compression, ankle to calf.

Tighter pressure at the ankle, easing as it moves up the leg — the clinically-proven pattern that supports venous return, flushes lactic acid, and gets oxygen-rich blood back to the muscles that need it. Pulled on after a session, they shorten recovery; worn through one, they reduce vibration and fatigue.

Grad. compression
02

Arch + calf support

Precision-knitted zones cradle the arch and hug the calf to stabilise muscle during use and reduce vibration on impact — fewer micro-tears, fewer cramps, faster turnaround.

03

Flat-seam toe + reinforced heel

Ultra-soft yarn, a non-binding cuff, and a flat-seam toe box — built for wear all day without pressure points, blisters, or the red ring around your calf at the end of a shift.

04

Anatomical L / R fit

Each sock is knitted specifically for the left or right foot, so the arch band, heel cup, and compression zones sit exactly where they're meant to — no twisting, no slipping, all-session comfort.

How to wear

Three steps, done in thirty seconds.

01

Turn inside out to the heel.

Take one sock and turn the leg section inside out down to the heel, so only the foot part remains right-side out. This makes the sock easier to position precisely.

02

Seat the heel, roll up.

Slip your foot into the toe section, settle your heel into the cup, then gently roll the sock up over the ankle and calf — spread the fabric evenly as it goes so the knit doesn't bunch.

03

Cuff just under the knee.

Position the cuff so it sits just below the knee bend — never fold or roll it over. A folded cuff can pinch and cut off the graduated pressure the sock is designed to deliver.

The compression, explained.

Graduated compression applies precise pressure from ankle to calf to support optimal venous return. The tighter pressure at the ankle gradually decreases up the leg, accelerating circulation and moving oxygen-rich blood back to the muscles that need it — during exercise and after.

It's the same principle used in sports medicine and post-surgery recovery, translated into a sock you can pull on before a run, a shift, or a long flight.

CirculationTired legsImproves blood flow from the calf back to the heart — re-energises tired muscles and eases that heavy-leg feeling after a long day.
RecoveryLactic acidFaster venous return helps clear lactic acid and metabolic waste, so muscles bounce back quicker between sessions.
Anti-swellingInflammationSteady external pressure reduces fluid build-up in the lower leg — less swelling, less heaviness, less inflammation after intense activity.
Long-termLeg healthSupports the body's natural recovery processes — good for long flights, long shifts, and long-term vein and circulation health.

“Honestly a game changer for my legs.”

I'm on my feet 10+ hours a day in retail and used to come home with heavy, aching legs every night. Wearing these through my shift, the difference is night and day — my legs feel lighter and I'm not dragging by the end of the day.

“My calves thank me after every run.”

Put them on before a long run and my calves just feel better the whole way through — no more tightness in the last few miles. Pulled them on again the day after, and the usual soreness was maybe half what I'd normally feel. Sold.

“Finally slept without leg cramps.”

I've struggled with heavy, aching legs after long shifts for months — couldn't settle at night without cramping up. Started wearing these through the day and evening and the cramps have basically stopped. Didn't think a sock could make this much difference.

“Perfect for long flights.”

Bought these for a long-haul trip and they were brilliant. Usually my ankles and feet swell up — this time, nothing. Stepped off the plane feeling normal. Using them for the gym now too.

“Leg fatigue cut in half.”

I'm a line cook — 12-hour shifts on concrete floors. My legs used to be ruined by hour eight. These have cut that fatigue in half, honestly. I can still be present when I get home instead of just collapsing on the couch. Worth every cent.

“Getting there.”

Had them for a week. Legs definitely feel less heavy by the end of the day — shin splints from running are easing off too. Takes a bit of practice to get them on without bunching, but once they're on they do the job.

“Way less swelling.”

My feet and ankles swell up in the evenings, especially in hot weather. With these on, way less swelling — I can actually wear my normal shoes at the end of the day again. Wish I'd tried them sooner.

“Post-leg-day recovery, solved.”

Tried these for recovery after a heavy leg day at the gym. Wore them for a few hours that evening and the next-morning soreness was noticeably less than usual. Working better than I expected for the price.

“Bought for my partner's work trips.”

Got these for my husband — he flies for work every other week. He says his legs actually feel normal when he lands now. No swelling, no heavy feeling. Already ordered a second pair for myself.

“A must-have for 12-hour shifts.”

I work at a hospital, 12-hour shifts on my feet. These keep the achiness away through the whole shift — and no more red compression-burn lines on my calves from the cheap pairs. Customer service was great when I needed to swap a size.

“The only sock that actually helps.”

My wife has had chronic aching legs for years — tried every sock, roller, and gadget going. These are the only ones that actually help. Ordering was easy, shipping was quick, and she's already told me to order her a second pair.

Beyond the workout.

Graduated compression works the same way whether you're mid-run or mid-flight. Here's how Recuvv socks get worn outside the gym:

Restless legs

Ease that fidgety, can't-settle feeling in your legs at the end of the day. Steady compression keeps blood moving so your legs feel calmer — helpful in the evening and before bed.

Shin splints

Reduce the dull, aching shin pain runners and standing workers know well. Compression supports the muscle along the shinbone and cuts down on the vibration that aggravates it.

Swollen ankles

The classic end-of-day puff around the ankle — from heat, standing, or sitting too long. Gentle ankle-up compression helps keep fluid moving so swelling doesn't settle in.

Long journeys

Long flights, coach trips, long car drives. Pulled on before you sit, they keep circulation moving in your legs so you land feeling fresh instead of puffy and stiff.

All-day shifts

Retail floors, hospital corridors, kitchens. Hours on concrete leave legs heavy and aching — compression keeps them feeling lighter through the shift and for the evening after.

Post-workout

Pull them on after training. Faster circulation clears lactic acid quicker, so the next-morning soreness is lighter and you're ready for the session after.

Not a medical device. If you have a diagnosed circulatory condition or medical concern about compression, speak to your doctor before regular use. Medical-grade compression hosiery is prescribed in specific mmHg grades and is different from recovery socks like these.

Common questions

Before you pull them on.

Recovery Compression Socks use graduated compression: tighter pressure at the ankle that eases up the calf. That pattern actively helps blood circulate back to the heart, which flushes lactic acid, reduces swelling, and speeds up muscle recovery. They're also anatomically knit for a left and right foot, so arch support and heel cup land exactly where they should.

Graduated compression means the pressure is highest at the ankle and gradually decreases as the sock moves up toward the knee. This pressure gradient works with your body's natural venous return, pushing blood and lymph fluid back toward the heart instead of letting them pool in your lower leg.

The practical upshot: less heavy-leg fatigue during long days standing or sitting, less post-workout soreness, less swelling on long flights, and faster recovery between sessions. It's the same mechanism used in sports medicine and post-surgery recovery, translated into something you can pull on every day.

Two sizes: S/M fits UK 4–7 (EU 36–40, US 5–8), L/XL fits UK 7–10 (EU 41–45, US 8–11). UK 7 sits at the overlap — size up for a more relaxed cuff, size down for firmer compression. See the full size guide for all conversions.

Three main moments: during activity (runs, gym, a long shift) to reduce vibration and support the calf; after activity to speed up recovery and clear lactic acid; and on long flights or sedentary days to prevent heavy legs and swelling. Plenty of wearers also wear them in the evening to ease aching legs.

We'd advise against it. The graduated compression is designed for active use, during the day when you're upright. At night your body doesn't need the external assist, and prolonged compression during sleep isn't necessary. Pull them off before bed and your legs will still feel the benefit in the morning.

The trick: turn the sock inside out down to the heel, so only the foot part is right-side out. Slip your foot in, settle the heel into the cup, then gently roll the leg part up over the ankle and calf. Spread the fabric evenly as you go. The cuff should sit just below the knee, never fold or roll it over, as that cuts off the compression. See "How to wear" above for the full step-by-step.

Wash by hand or on a gentle machine cycle at a maximum of 30°C. Do not tumble dry, heat breaks down the elastane and the sock loses its compression. Hang to air dry away from direct sunlight. Followed properly, they'll keep their shape and pressure through hundreds of wears.

Recuvv socks provide mild-to-moderate graduated compression, which is safe for general daily wear and post-activity recovery. If you have a diagnosed circulatory condition, DVT history, peripheral neuropathy, or diabetes, please check with your doctor before regular use. Medical-grade compression socks are different to recovery socks, and the right pressure depends on your situation.
